CMA Perfusion Fluid Composition
These are isotonic, non-buffered, sterile fluids specially composed for microdialysis applications to resemble the ionic content of interstitial fluid.
Composition of the CMA Perfusion Fluid options are as follows:
CMAP000034 Perfusion Fluid T1, 5 ml, pkg. of 10
Presently on hold and unavailable: CMAP000151 Perfusion Fluid CNS, 5 ml, pkg. of 10
Presently on hold and unavailable: CMA8050151 Perfusion Fluid CNS Dextran MW 500 kDa 3%, 5 ml, pkg. of 2
The salt content of each can be found in the description sections of the following links:
- Harvard Apparatus: https://www.harvardapparatus.com/cma-perfusion-fluid.html
- CMA: https://microdialysis.com/cma-microdialysis-perfusion-fluid.html
pH of the perfusion fluids
The pH of a non-buffered solution varies between 5 and 8. CMA perfusion fluids are intentionally not buffered to allow it to equilibrate to the same pH as the brain’s interstitial fluid.
Certificate of Analysis (CoA)
To request a copy of CoA documentation provide LOT# and submit a ticket through our support center.
RNAse free perfusion fluid
Per manufacturer: Although it is very unlikely for the product to not be RNAse free, it has not been tested and so cannot be guaranteed to be RNAse free
Shelf life of the perfusion fluid
It is 3 years from the manufacturing date (unopened). The Use By date is marked on the label of the perfusion fluid.
